The project has developed a new type of high pressure hydrogenation orbital ball valve, which effectively improves the reliability and service life of the valve. The hydrogenation high-pressure track ball valve developed in February 2015 has been put into operation in the Sinopec Guangzhou Branch's hydrogenation unit. The operation is stable and reliable and fully meets the production process requirements.
At the appraisal meeting, the experts of the appraisal committee heard the "Summary Report of the Development Work" made by Shanghai Kaiweixi Valve Co., Ltd. and the "Application Report" made by the Guangzhou Branch of Sinopec, and they unanimously agreed that the project passed the results appraisal. Experts of the appraisal committee believe that the overall technology of the developed NPS8 Class 1500 hydrogenation high-pressure orbit ball valve has reached the international advanced level and can be used as an alternative to imports.
